Testimonies...

Today was the first day our church had this testimony sharing session after the usual sermon.

Great idea pastor soong!

I mean...its really encouraging to see how God works in everyone's lives. Some in big ways, some in small ways.

It reminds us (for me anyways) how real God is.

He feels.

He cares.

He understands.

He loves.

Three of the five testimonies shared today caused me to tear up. I almost cried.

One...

a miraculous healing of a women who had seriously low blood sugar levels. Who was sent to the hospital...after almost fainting in an organic shop.

Another..

a seemingly happy family on the outside. But behind closed doors....was suffering from problems that almost ruined the unity of the family. God prevented that from happening. He heard their cries.

One part the dad shared really really touched me. They were completely at lost to what to do. His son....took the bible and said, dad...let see what God says. The dad was close to tears during the sharing.

Imagine...how touched he was.

And yet another..

A wife....admitted to the hospital years ago. The doctors gave her an injection. Instead of getting better...she stopped breathing. Close to her death bed. The doting husband...in tears, knelt down to pray. And she was healed. He came back to God. They are now...living happily with their family. Serving whole-heartedly.

God is indeed great, no?

He helped them in very big ways...

but that doesn't mean...smaller things are 'beneath' Him.

No sir-ee.

He helped one man...find a very important document he needed...in just a nick of time.

and

He brought 200 people to church on saturday night for the kindergarten's annual concert and made it a success too!

=)

I'm in awe.

How can you not believe in such a patient, caring, loving and just plain AMAZING God?

Though to the outside world...all seems fine and dandy. God knows each trouble hidden deep within our hearts. And best of all...He cares. Remember that alright?

Thank You.

Praise You for all the big and small things that You've done....in all our lives.
