A little recap on what went on. (I don't have many pictures of what happened....most are with the camp photographer, Jo-Lyn! ^^)
Day 1, 30 May: The Arrival
All pumped up and excited for camp Anna and I reached church a few minutes before 12.30pm. Received news that quite a number of people pulled out...I couldn't help feeling a bit of disappointment at that but God has His plans. =) A bit of dilly dally-ing and looking at all the new and familiar faces arriving at church one by one.

Sadly, the bus was delayed by 1hour plus. Not only that but he didn't know the way there and refused to take a look at the map Aunty Janice had. Oh my. Luckily, I had Anna for company! In the end, Aunty Fay Khim and Uncle Teng Kee came to look for for us. Yay!
First thought on arrival: Wow this is a very outdoor-sy place. O.o
Went to dump our stuff in our dorms and then it was ice-breaking! That was cut down very short due to our very late arrival... =( and then off to our first activity raft-building!
So we went to change and...
Su Ann's blur moment: I happily put the key into my purse, and the purse into my luggage bag and then I locked it.
After a few minutes of talking, it hit me. What. Did. I. Just. DO?! Everything was in it! My handphone, my money, my clothes!
Panic.
But the activity was starting already...so I just let it at that.
We built a raft! Armed with only barrels, ropes, barrels and bamboo. And we raced it. That was fun. =) Man, my group mates were awesome. We actually won! Yay!
After that...to handle the problem at hand. Save my bag. And Uncle Lean Hock did it! Without damaging the bag OR the lock. With only just a pen. O.O Whoa... I now know how to pick pocket a luggage bag.
Shower. Dinner. Session 1 with KJ - The Reason of Gods Love.
What hit me: When we look at God's amazing breath-taking creations...we're just so awed out. Like Whoa...
God looks at this

and looks at us...
and thinks that nope, you're much better than that. He looks at US and says wow.
I don't know bout you but when KJ said that I got the tingles. I mean sometimes I look into the mirror and say ugh.. God looks at me and says wow?
We are God's crown jewels of creation. I'm gonna remember that.
We broke off to our small groups to discuss and delve deeper into what KJ said. Supper. Lights out.

my small group. =)
Day 2, 1 May: Fun!
Couldn't really sleep. And so did Denyse. So we woke up at 6am and joined the staff for the morning prayers. =)
Breakfast. Session 2 with KJ - The Proof of God's Love. Holy Communion. Small group discussions. Lunch. Games!
Boom boom chika wow wow! It was like the amazing race kinda thing with different stations. Great job planning this Jia Ying and Ivan! Super fun! Hee!
Then we had free time. Most of us went kayaking and did the flying fox.
I kayaked! For the first time!
Well, if you considered a few paddles and then capsizing kayaking. I don't even know how did it happen. O.O I can't wait to see the pictures man...LOL! The flying fox was cool too. =)
Bath. Dinner. Session 3 with KJ - The Response to God's Love and an awesome worship.
What hit me: As a Christian, I know about God's amazing love and this love is SO great it should over flow out of me and make me do crazy things for others....out of this love for God. I need to come back to God and think about what I'm willing to give up, to risk for Him. =/
Then, it was late night! Despite the rain, a bunch of us just gathered around and played Werewolf! A little bit like mafia. =) I left earlier for bed at around 1am in preparation for the Broga Hill climb!
Yups, you heard that right. Me? Actually excited bout an outdoorsy thing? O.o And that brings us to...
Day 3, 2 May: The Climb!
If you know me...you would know that the words su ann and outdoors (exercise, sporty stuffs) don't really go hand in hand. For me to wake up at 5am after only 4 hours of sleep for an optional climb up a hill? Yea...
LOL!
But since I was there...I should do it! When will I get another chance to right? Not many set out for the climb since they stayed up til 3 for the Late Night. So it was only the 12 of us.
And the feeling when I reached the top...wow. The view was so pretty... And it was so cooling up there... And to think that I made it up there with my own effort makes it all the more satisfying.. =) Ahahaha! Look at me talking. Like I climbed Everest like that. But for me...it IS an achievement...albeit a small one.. ^^
The view was definitely worth the lack of sleep and effort.

Tired looking me and Anna!

We made it to the top!

I really like this picture...with the mist setting in. Amazing view, amazing people. =)
Then down we went. Breakfast. Recap by KJ. Lunch. Home.
All in all it was a great camp. A life was saved (Praise God!), I met many new people, made new friends...

...tried different stuffs and learnt new things.
Thank You God for making this camp a success....
I'm missing it already...
