Darn it. He told me so far in advance. The anticipation begins building up.
Fast-forward to 21 August 2011.
AHHHHHH! screams myself internally. I can’t stand waiting around anymore. I gotta do something. Bathe? Its still so early! Darn that. I’m gonna get ready. I sure hope I’ll look pretty. I wanna WOW him! HEE!
LA-DI-LA-DI-DA.
I twirl around in front of the mirror. Hmm not bad. At least I feel pretty. LOL! Now to wait.
*handphone rings* he’s here!
He opens the door. I get settled. “You look really pretty su ann.” I beam! “Are you wearing LIPGLOSS?” he said in disbelief. AHAHAHA! That was funny.
TA-DA! He handed me a beautiful bouquet of roses. So pretty. I loved it. Once we reached his home, he insisted on blindfolding me! With his shirt. Thankfully, with his expert guidance I did not fall or knock into anything. Phew!
I was SO excited and yet nervous at the same time. What is he UP TO?! He even left me waiting alone for a few minutes.
He kissed me before he removed the blindfold and BEHOLD!
A beautifully set-up candlelight dinner in his living room. I was stunned. SO surprised and almost close to tears. There are even streamers and a birthday balloon. =) Perfect.
We waited while the spaghetti got heated up. And I guess he saw how curious I was to open my present. He let me open it early! WEEE! Ripped the wrapping off and it was my very own mini cooper! LOL! Now how many girls get to say their boyfriend bought them their favourite car. Not many. BUT I CAN! HEE!
Splendid dinner of prawn, chicken and mushroom spaghetti with sparkling juice.
CAKE! While snuggling in front of the tv. And a slow dance..
Thank you Edmond. For the simply magical 20th birthday. You make me feel like I’m the most special girl in the world.
