Camp poster by Leonard.
A 3day 2 night camp at Chefoo, Cameron Highlands.
Got people lost by the map I drew.
Attempted to guess some odd languages.
Led a small group discussion for the first time.
Saw God sparked the discussions.
Woke up early for the hot water - found people awake even EARLIER than I was.
Came back into the room to find a Jia Ying on my bed.
Fought for some baked beans and had 2 cups of good tea.
Acted as a servant girl.
Got sunburnt while praying
Led people to write letters.
Lost at capture the flag
Played THE BEST ICE AND WATER EVER - 3 girls and Bryan against 2 tall ang mohs that work out and MSSD/MSSS swimmers/runners.
Had worship with just two guitars under the stars.
Wrote some commitment cards.
Slept on the bus ride home.
We are God's agents of change. To be the salt and light in the community around us. Its not an option!
There is more to life than getting good grades to secure a good job for a better future.
You can be part of God's amazing story or just stand by the sidelines.
Your choice.
Those were just some of the thoughts that impacted me throughout camp. Have I really lived my life for God all these years? Honestly, no. Not really. Time for a change. To accept the challenges God has placed in my path. All for His glory.
On a side note, I can see God at work within our youth/college group. Heard some encouraging stories and I can see the adults/leaders getting excited. Honestly? I am too.
May Your will be done Lord.
