I really should update my blog more often. Anyways! Guess what I did yesterday? I traveled around KL!
Man...I'm a sad excuse for a city girl. Ahahahaha.
Okie, lets start from the beginning shall we?
So, yesterday since class was gonna start late my uni-mates and I decided on visiting the Twin Towers Bridge (since most of us haven't been there. O.O) and travel back for our afternoon class.
Nothing turned out as planned.
And yet...I wouldn't have wanted it to turn out otherwise. =)
We took the LRT all the way to KLCC. That's a first for me. And my! I should get out more. I was so fascinated about everything! So much to see! Seriously. And you can imagine my BIG reactions to things that intrigues me.

Needless to say, I provided some amusement for my uni-mates on the trip there.
As pumped up as I was to finally get to go on the bridge! They ran out of tickets. Aww.. =( And there we were.
What to do now?
A little window shopping but the guys soon got bored. We went to check out the movies instead! What we planned to watch wasn't at a suitable time (another bummer). We settled for a movie called "What Women Want". Its in Chinese.
Imagine? 3 Indians and 2 bananas. Watching a Chinese movie. Hmm...
But it was surprisingly funny and good! Ahahahaha!
Then off to lunch! We settled for the food court. Amidst all the jokes and stories shared we realised we won't be able to make it back for the first lecture. So we decided to miss it. It wasn't an important one. =) but the second briefing we MUST make it back in time. Or so we thought.
We went to catch some pics at the fountain. ^^
(Its pretty... One thing I gotta do: Walk around the park there.)
Then, we were about to go catch the LRT back when suddenly Karan realised he didn't have a tie! So we had to go get one first.
My! Guys shop fast. In and out in less than 15minutes with a tie in hand. Impressive. Sadly, we were gonna be late. A cab would've solved our prob but geez are they expensive!
We rushed to the lrt and reached to the Masjid Jamek interchange. There we realised there's no way we could make it back for the briefing. So phone calls were made! Who's the lecturer, what would we be missing, the usual.
Turns out, there were hardly anyone there anyways! Its just some briefing bout dress code. -.-"
Ahahhahaha! But all the better for us!
We decided to walk to Central Market! Well, they decided. I was pretty blur all the way actually. XD
Walking around KL during peak hour is SCARY! I was clinging on to Michelle's hand like all the way. Cars honking at you, people rushing here and there.

And I got pulled back from the incoming traffic. Close shave.
Yups, more jokes at my expense of course. Like my haywire internal GPS and my survival in aussie. XD Ahahahaha.

After that, it was home for us.
I learnt quite a bit from this little outing. I learnt I really need to get out more. Its not good. I have been sheltered my whole life. But I'm starting.. Bit by bit.
Its only my first year in uni after all. Who knows what will happen in 2 years time? =)
I'm beginning to fit in. About time.
Definitely a good day. Looking forward to others like it already. ^^
